Making Certain New Jersey Is Super Prepared!
BEDMINSTER, NJ, June 3, 2013 -- (From left) Tom Tosatti and Lisa Tepper of Travelers head to the 19th hole at Trump National with former NY Giant Bart Oates and Jeff Perlman of BPSK following the 2014 Super Bowl Host Committee Donor Golf Tournament. Growing Together In Princeton

BPSK’s Sarah Cammerzell and Jeff Perlman were pleased to join Mayor Liz Lempert and other community leaders for Opening Day of the Princeton Farmers Market on May 16, 2013 at Hinds Plaza. Doug Borden

Doug Borden is founder and Managing Director of Borden Perlman. He brings with him almost 30 years experience, having served as manager of sales of commercial and personal insurance for its predecessor, the W.S. Borden Company. Doug attended Ohio Wesleyan University. He is on the board of directors of Hopewell Valley Community Bank. He also serves on the governing boards of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Rescue Mission of Trenton. Doug resides in Stockton with his wife, Tina, and especially enjoys spending time along the river with his children.

Jeff Perlman

Jeff Perlman is founder and Managing Director of Borden Perlman. A graduate of Princeton Day School and Bucknell University, he received his graduate degree in Insurance and Risk Management from St. John's University and received his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) degree in 1993. Jeff is immediate past Chairperson of the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is on the board of the Princeton Area Communty Foundation and is the past president of Greenwood House, Home for the Jewish Aged. He has also served on the Board of The College of New Jersey and the Ewing Lawrence Sewerage Authority. He resides in Princeton with his wife, Sharon, and their two children.

Richard Perlman

Richard Perlman is the father of Jeff Perlman and founder of Perlman Insurance Agency, the predecessor of Borden Perlman. His 50+ years of experience is currently put to use as a consultant to the firm. He and his wife, Bonnie, reside in Skillman, NJ. Richard has a long history of involvement in the communities he serves. He has held governing positions at Mercer County Community College, Greenwood House, and the Jewish Federation Foundation. He graduated from The Peddie School and Bucknell University, and is best known for his life experience, common sense, and commitment to staying physically and mentally active. His success on the tennis courts validates that commitment.

Sarah Cammerzell

Sarah Willard Cammerzell, CIC oversees sales and marketing for the Personal Lines department of Borden Perlman. She specializes in risk management providing coverage for high value primary and secondary homes, boats, automobiles, excess liability, and valuable articles such as jewelry and artwork. A native of Princeton, Sarah is a graduate of Princeton High School and Hamilton College where she received her BA in economics. She is active in a number of Princeton community organizations and currently serves as secretary of the Board of Trustees of Trinity Counseling Service. Sarah is a member of both the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Kelly Myers

Athletics and insurance have long been a major part of Kelly's life. Kelly coached Division III football at Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) from 1979 to 2004. As the Defensive Coordinator for 18 years, he touted 7 NJAC Championships, 4 NCAA Playoff appearances and a defense ranked #1 in 1990. Around that time, he was approached by Doug Borden and his father Jack and entered the insurance business after attending the Drake University School of Insurance. He founded the Sports Group at Borden Perlman in 1990 and has grown the book of business nationwide to become one of the most recognized firms in the country. Kelly serves on the Mercer County Sports Authority Council, and as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation. He is the recipient of the 2003 TCNJ Distinguished Service Award and the 2009 DVC Distinguished American Award. Kelly lives in Hopewell Township, NJ.

Dale Lefevre

Dale Lefevre serves as Commercial Lines Manager at Borden Perlman. She has worked professionally in the insurance industry since 1977. Dale started her career on the company side of the business with the St. Paul insurance company, gaining a solid knowledge of underwriting. She then took a role in production underwriting in the surplus lines arena where she worked on property, casualty and professional liability risks .She has extensive experience in production, including retail and wholesale underwriting and sales. Dale also possesses a unique understanding of the importance of servicing the clients' needs.

Shelleen Piselli

Shelleen Piselli, CIC, has been working in the insurance industry since 1984. She is licensed in both NJ and PA. She is committed to the relationships she has built over the years and uses her expertise to keep the insurance process as uncomplicated as possible for each of her clients.

Married with four daughters and one granddaughter, Shelly currently resides in Hartsville, Central Bucks County, PA, where she is strongly rooted in her Lutheran Church. A native of Hamilton Township, NJ, she is a member of the Mercer Regional, Princeton and Central Bucks Chambers of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys restoring old damaged furniture and gifting it to others.

Sharon Cappella

Sharon Cappella, CIC, has been an account executive at Borden Perlman since the summer of 2000, and was recently recognized by The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors for 10 Years of "commitment to advanced knowledge and customer service." She is also an experienced workers compensation broker. She is committed to continued education and the advancement of technology and sees both as vital to the dynamic insurance industry. A resident of Bensalem, PA, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also volunteers with PEI Kids, where she is a member of the research & development committee member, and with Women in Business, a subcommittee of the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of Temple University, she is a member of the Gamma Iota Sigma Risk Management & Insurance Fraternity. In addition to playing with her children, she plays golf, tennis & volleyball.

Bill Kelly

Bill Kelly brings more than 30 years to his position as Account Executive and is licensed in Life/Health and Property/Casualty Insurance. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson and Seton Hall Universities, he specializes in Association Insurance Programs. He is very supportive of Borden Perlman's philosophy of providing services in a people centric manner. When he's not spending time with his four daughters and three grandchildren, he enjoys touring the links of some of the finest golf courses in the region. He resides in Hillsborough, NJ.

Bill Zester

Bill Zester joined Borden Perlman’s commercial lines department in 2010 as an account executive with exceptional expertise in assisting social services agencies. Bill has more than 20 years of success in helping non-profit executives in their quest to improve coverage, minimize risk and exposure, and maximize their insurance investment. He understands the unique needs of those in the health and helping professions and is adept at discovering and correcting coverage miscues with an eye toward cost savings. A graduate of Blair Academy and Fairleigh Dickinson University, Bill Zester holds accreditation from the College of Insurance in risk management and the provision of property and casualty coverage. He enjoys golf, tennis and skiing and is also a trained musician.

Harry Hall

Harry joined Borden Perlman in March 2009. He brings over thirty years of insurance industry experience to the job with eleven years working for major brokerage firms in New York. Harry was born and raised in Princeton, NJ. He graduated from the Hotchkiss School in 1971 and Yale University in 1975 with a BA in American Studies. Harry played football and lacrosse while at Yale and was also a member of St. Anthony Hall. Harry also holds the AAI Insurance Industry Designation from the Insurance Institute of Philadelphia. Harry has an extensive background in commercial property and casualty insurance, both from a sales and marketing perspective. He has long standing relationships with the major carriers in the industry as well as long time client relationships in the local Princeton area. Harry is a member of the Yale Club of Princeton and the Bobby Campbell Lacrosse foundation. When not working, Harry enjoys reading and hiking the local trails in the area.

Scott Miller, Sr.

W. Scott Miller, CIC, AIA, and his son, W. Scott Miller, Jr., were formerly the key contacts at Pennington Insurance Services, Inc., which began operating under the Borden Perlman brand in April of 2012. The move united two three-generation family firms. It also assured Miller’s clients the continuation of the hometown, personalized service they had come to expect. Miller resides in Washington Crossing, PA, with his wife, Mib.
